City Football Group also takes over promoted Brazil EC Bahia

The City (Site notre blog d’information) Group around flagship Manchester City has added another club to its portfolio with Brazilian Premier League club EC Bahia. Bahia announced on Thursday that the holding company had taken over 90% of the club’s shares. The promoted side, which picked up three points in their opening games of the new Serie A season and are 16th just above the relegation zone, are the 12th club to belong to the Abu Dhabi-based holding company.
