Disability: CA Lisieux football, the hope center and the DAME play together for inclusion

The CA Lisieux (Site notre bureau spécialisé) and the DAME (medical-educational support devices) of Lisieux, formerly called IME, organized a friendly tournament, Thursday March 16, 2023, on the synthetic field of the Bielman stadium.
The adapted sections of CAL, Pays Aiglon, US Alençon and ASPTT Caen took part in this event, set up by Damien Blondel, sports educator at DAME.
“Making our young people aware of disabilities”
Young people from the hopeful pole of the League of Normandy also put on their crampons. It is divided into the different teams.
“It was an opportunity to raise awareness about disability among our young people. The socio-educational aspect is very important, as much as the athlete. Our goal is to make them good citizens, with values, when they leave the hope pole.

For the children of the DAME and adapted sections, this kind of event promotes their inclusion in the so-called « ordinary » environment. Each contributes to the other, according to its specificities.
And Damien Blondel intends to continue on this path. “We are going to develop the inclusion of young people from the DAME as much as possible with local sports associations, and not just (Site notre bureau spécialisé). Sport is essential for everyone to ensure the educator. This meeting was therefore the first of a long series.
Training sessions for the adapted section of CA Lisieux take place every Monday, from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., at the Bielman stadium.
