Looking for a speaker to develop women’s (Site notre bureau spécialisé) among young people, the Potigny Villers-Canivet-Ussy (Site notre bureau spécialisé) club applied to host a young girl as part of civic service.

« We sent our request to the Departmental Directorate of Social Cohesion, via the French (Site notre bureau spécialisé) federation », summarizes the treasurer of the club Jean-Michel Bouffay.

After acceptance by the authorities, Lindsay Hébert, living in La Hoguette, joined the club. For 9 months, her mission was to « develop women’s (Site notre bureau spécialisé) by recruiting female players », especially in the youth categories.

The club must comply with the standards required by the federation. « The absence of a women’s team makes it impossible to reach the next level ».

The idea is to create a U11 team

« The idea is to create a U11 team this year, » continues the leader. The young girl begins « a work of communication and meeting ». She wants to get closer to elementary school, physical education teachers, Pierre and Marie Curie college.

She is also thinking of moving to nearby schools. In the meantime, after the first two open doors, she invites women to participate in the next meeting on Wednesday September 21 at 3:30 p.m.
